Soren, on the occasion, also requested the President to help ISM in getting IIT status at the earliest.Praising the institution, the CM said that it was not only the proud of Jharkhand but its the proud of India. Proving their mettle hundreds of its students got several prestigious awards and established their recognition across the world.
Jharkhand Governor Dr Syed Ahmed, appealed to the students on the occasion and gave his sincere advice to “Challenge your intellect, keep learning, embrace change, be innovative and always look forward towards creating the future of the society.”“Remember that your challenge is to make the world a better place to live in. I am sure, with your resourcefulness and enterprise you shall make all the right decisions,” he said.
Talking about the State the Governor said that Jharkhand was blessed with several institutes of national repute and the students of these Institutions were proving to be valuable resources in their respective work areas. “One can say that the State has as much wealth in terms of human resources as it has in terms of nature’s bounty. In such a scenario, the possibilities for economic and social growth of this State are truly unlimited,” he said.
“Young graduates should surely be motivated enough to initiate their own enterprises, thereby creating employment opportunities for others to move forward. There is immense potential for industrial growth in this region. The wonderful climatic conditions, simple and hard working people, improving infrastructure and readily available technical and managerial manpower shall indeed ensure that,” the Governor added.
Both the Governor and the CM praised the efforts and contributions of the ISM for showing an exemplary commitment, since its inception, towards furthering the cause of higher education in the country. They also congratulated all degree recipients wishing them all success in achieving all their worthy goals in life. “I would also like to felicitate the parents, the teachers, the mentors and all those, who have contributed to leading you towards this rewarding day,” said Dr Ahmed.
