Under Integrated Action Plan (IAP) run by Central Government in Naxal hit districts, the Hazaribagh district administration has planned to supply drinking water with the help of solar energy in non-electrified villages. DC Sunil Kumar informed in a review meeting of IAP. He directed the officials of all the blocks to select at least 25 to 30 villages in each block and prepare a project report of drinking water supply to the houses by pipeline and water tank in a range of 300-400 meters.
In the meeting DC Sunil Kumar informed that there is a proposal of constructing a planetarium here in Hazaribagh at a cost of Rs. 42 lakhs and very soon we are going to send a letter to the Science and Technology Department for further directives. He inquired about the progress report of lake development scheme, hospital development scheme, about completion of information center building, pathway and parking construction inside the Collectorate campus.
The DC also inquired about the status of general ward of the hospital where several renewal works were proposed during last meeting. He also tried to know about the developmental works going on in Barkattha Suraj Kund area. DC directed the EE Road Division to start the construction of Ichak-Barkattha Road without any delay.
While reviewing the reports of special division he expressed anger when he came to know that many contractors have not completed the works given to them and payment has been made to them. lodge FIR against all such contractors and try to get the pending works completed within 1-2 months, he instructed the EE of special division. Similarly he also instructed the EE of REO to complete the pending works before 30th of September and to report him.
In the meeting when he came to know the Aanganbadi Kendra of Kandaber of Keredari block is being used as personal property by some staffs, he ordered the concerned officials to make an inspection of the site and report to him. DDC Ravindra Prasad Singh, AC Ranjan Choudhary and other officials were present.
