Geeta Shree Bajaj, mother of the city's famous social worker Pawan Bajaj, breathed her last on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her residence located at Shri Ram Garden, Kanke Road (Ranchi). Her last journey will leave for Harmu Road Muktidham on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 11 am.
Late Geeta Shree Bajaj, wife of late Rajendra Prasad Bajaj has made active contributions and held positions in various religious, social and business organizations. Her last wish was to donate his eyes. She had already filled her form for eye donation.
After her death, his son Pawan Bajaj donated her eyes. “As per the wish of my Pujya Mataji, her eyes were donated. Dr Kashyap's medical team from Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital completed the work. My entire family is grateful to them,” said Bajaj.
Late Geeta Shree has left behind a complete family including sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, grandsons and granddaughters.
Bhagchand Poddar, Rajkumar Kedia, Prakash Chand Sethi, Santosh Saraogi, Vinod Jain, Manoj Bajaj, Pramod Saraswat, Kamal Kedia, Shyam Sundar Bajaj, Prakash Sethi, Vicky Jain, Satyanarayan Singh, Tapan Sen, hundreds of intellectuals, dignitaries of institutions, relatives, friends and neighbours paid homage to the departed soul at her residence.
