With the entire world fighting against Coronavirus, Zindagi Milegi Dobara Foundation has started an initiative of disinfecting the vehicles of the frontline workers, who are involved in fighting the pandemic. The movement, which was launched in the State capital on April 15 will be done free of cost for the Corona warriors.

The initiative launched on Wednesday at Panchwati Tower, Harmu Road, Ranchi by Zindagi Milega Dobara Foundation is being supported by Rajgarhia Ventures Private Limited.

The primary purpose of this movement is to serve the people involved in the battle on a daily basis and also to honour them. The free service is being provided to ambulances, district administration and municipal corporation vehicles, PCR’s and also to those from the print and electronic media.

“When everyone is sanitising their homes and offices, there is a possibility that Corona warriors might carry the virus in their vehicles. Disinfecting the vehicles will further curtail the spread of the same. This is also our way of encouraging and supporting them for their commendable work. It is also the first initiative of its kind which has been started espically for the warriors anywhere in India,” said Zindagi Milegi Dobara Foundation President Ashwini Rajgarhia.

The service will be available from 10 am to 6 pm at the venue and the warriors can avail it by showing their identity cards. A complimentary mask is also being given to the drivers.

“On the first day of this project as many as 28 vehicles which includes both two wheelers and four wheelers were sanitized. This movement will be carried on for as long as is required,” added Rajgarhia.
