The skill development and training institute at Shardhanand Bal Vidya Mandir will be extending its reach across Ranchi now. The institute, operating on PPP mode and supported by former tourism minister Subodh Kant Sahay, has trained 58 batches of young men and women hailing from Ranchi and nearby rural regions. “Around 2800 from the past 58 batches have already been placed and the 59th batch is going on. We are planning to start computer classes soon as well as food processing skills to support women and help them market products they make. We will be extending its reach to all the 15 blocks under Ranchi,” said social activist Aditya Vikram Jaiswal
