The Government on Thursday gave nod to various recommendations of the Advisory Council on several important matters including fate of officials involved in different cases of fodder scam.
As many as six officials of Animal Husbandry & Fisheries were dismissed for being convicted by court in different cases of fodder scam. Cabinet approved dismissal of Dr Shailendra Bharti, Dr Deepak Kumar, Dr Krishna Kumar, Dr Rameshwar Narayan Pandey, Dr Venkateshwar Nath Pandey and Dr Sandeep Kumar in today’s meeting.
The Cabinet also gave its nod to dismiss Suryamani Acharya for submitting fake certificate on the condition that action will be taken against issuing authority as well. Significantly, the Government approved online transaction of road taxes, additional taxes and fee through e-payment system.
