Six days of divine knowledge to guide Ranchiites

Ranchi: Six days of spiritual erudition will be organised in Ranchi to guide people to sail through the complexities of material world and attain nirvana as the Chinmaya Mission is organising ‘Mahabharat Gyan Yajna’ from August 9 to 14.The six-days of spiritual sermon highlighting the essence of Srimad Bhagwad Geeta will be delivered by Swami Madhwananda, Archaya of Chinmaya Mission. The programme is a part of the year-long celebration being organised from May 8, 2015 to mark the birth centenary of the founder, Swami Chinmanyanand. The celebration will culminate on May 8, 2016.

The organising body, CCMT is planning to send a ‘Rath’ — Chinmaya Sandesh Vahini alongwith Akhand Chinmaya Jyoti, carrying the message of Swami Chinmayanand to 300 centres situated in different parts of the country. The Rath which is scheduled to be flagged off from Ernakulam — the birth place of Swami Chinmayanand — will be arriving Ranchi on August 30.

The Ranchi chapter of the mission is gearing up to celebrate the biggest event in commemoration of their spiritual leader and have decided to donate `2lakh for the Chinmaya Sandesh Vahini for its two days of stopover at the capital. PNS
