A meeting was held at Deputy Commissioner’s office for preparation of much awaited Shravni Mela at Pahari Mandir which will be taken care of by Shravani Mela Sanchalan Samiti - to come up soon.
Ranchi Sadar, Sub-Divisional Officer, Ameet Kumar discussed on all vital aspects which needed to be taken care of during the mela. The meeting started with revision of last meeting held for the same purpose. He asked for a cleanliness plan to maintain hygiene during the fair.
SDO said, “There should be proper arrangement of both male and female security guards and ambulance with physicians should always be present during the fest to ensure the safety and security of the people, ” Carpet clad stair case will be there to prevent casualties during the fest owing to feet slipping.
He further added, “One way system will be there like last year where there will be one way for entrance andanother way for exit. NCC will be managing queues of devotees.” He asked to submit volunteers and vendors name list with their photos and address so that they could get their identity cards. The meeting also focused on the reconstruction plan of the temple which was proposed by BIT, Mesra and other people whose opinions were were asked.
Ranchi Deputy Commissioner, Vinay Kumar Chaubey announced that Pahari Mandir Vikas Committee has donated a donation of amount Rs 1, 01000 for Uttrakhand tragedy.
