The Koderma DC instructed the District Superintendent of Education to issue show- cause notices to the headmasters of eight schools on Monday. Jitendra Kumar Sinha , District Superintendent of Education, issued the notices to the headmasters of Upgraded High School Janpur, Upgraded middle school Bhadurpur, Middle school Nalwa, High school Ola Dhab, Middle school Pasiya, Primary school Chilangiya, Primary school Kasari and Middle school Jamuniatand.
The snotice were issued to the headmasters after the students of these schools came to the collectorate holding a rally on International literacy Day organised by Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA).The organization BBA came with children and handed over a letter in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for better education in the district and the State. Ramashankar Caurasia, district chairperson of BBA, Gorakhnath of BBA and Mukhiyas of Bal Mitra Gram were present with the rally.
DC Kumar took the matter seriously because of the children with the rally on a school day. DC asked children the school name from where they belong and ordered DSE to take disciplinary action against them. Although the headmasters claimed that the childrens were picked-up from their residences.
