Shiv Shankar Oraon walks out of TAC

Published on:

BJP’s Shiv Shankar Oraon objected to the TAC discussing the matter and walked out. He was of the view that the Council should not deliberate upon this at all and received backing from party colleagues Tala Marandi, laxman Tudu etc. When the CM said it is being discussed since the Governor has returned the Bills, others returned but not fuming Shiv Shankar.

Earlier, Oraon along with some others reading out procedures said that none of the government officials, except Member Secretary—Welfare Secretary Himani Pandey—should be allowed inside.

On this the CM consulted Pandey who also nodded. Then the CM ordered, first in the history of any TAC meeting, marching orders to all heads of Depts present, including Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma. Secretaries were called inside as and when required and left soon after.
