After receiving the honour, the minister said that it is a matter of pride to receive the honour from one's own people. I have no words to describe the joy of being honoured by Christ University, Bengaluru, she added.
"I had the honour of being honoured along with many MPs, MLAs and ministers from across the country in a function organised by the university to honour alumni. Educational institutions have always played an important role in shaping the future of students. Gurudev has always been a guide. Christ University is one of the few universities in the country where every brilliant student dreams of getting an education. Coming to the university campus refreshed old memories and also all those dreams which I often used to see about the future," the Minister said.
