Sharif Khan won the Tata Steel IGU East Zone Sub-Junior Tour title at the Beldih Golf Club on Wednesday. The 15-year-old registered a 12-shot victory over Yashvardhan Sarda to grab the honours in the first leg of the 2013 season.
Sandeep Yadav emerged on top in Category C with a two-round total of 166 with Bibek Sardar taking the second spot at 170. Manish Rajak ended up a close third at 171, one shot less than the fourth placed Devansh Chadha. Rajib Ali bagged the honours in Category D with a total of 167 while Aroush Tagore and Arav Shanghavi finished second and third with totals of 196 and 199, respectively.
Rashik Basu clinched the title in the Category E (boys and girls) while Vanika Badshah and Marshneil Prasad won the Girls B and C category, respectively.
The prizes were given away by Sanjay Sabherwal, executive member of Jamshedpur Golf Committee.
