Amidst everyday unfolding dark underbelly of the Indian Premier league, JD (U) president Sharad Yadav on Tuesday demanded that IPl should be banned. He termed IPl as a case of “abandoned” child.
“The custodian of IPl, BCCI says that that it cannot do anything to curb fixing in IPl and cricket. Is not IPl a case of abandoned child if they cannot do anythingIJ The Government should take firm action and the tournament should be banned,” he said.
He alleged that the IPl from the day one was a cocktail of fixing, hawala and sex.
