Prashant Kumar Singh, the nephew of former Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Sahi, surrendered before ED court in Ranchi civil court in a case of money laundering. Bhanu Pratap Sahi is also accused in the case. Special enforcement directorate SR Das informed that Singh was director of two fake companies which was used to transact Sahi’s illegal money amounting to around 6.5 cores into legal currency. The court had earlier issued a summon against Singh. He surrendered only after the court issued an order for attachment of his property. He had filed anticipatory bail petition before the lower court and high court which were rejected.
