The State BJP has ridiculed State Congress president Ajoy Kumar’s statement that BJP’s four MLAs are in contact with Congress. State BJP spokesperson, Pratul Shahdeo today said that Ajay Kumar’s statement that four BJP MLAs are in contact with Congress is baseless.
Shahdeo said, “The Congress leader with an attempt to remain in news has given such statement. It appears that the Congress leader is in panic and shock after the revelation of telephonic talks between him and Naxal Samar Jee. Ajay Kumar has given such statement to divert people and media attention from the issue.”
JPCC president Ajay Kumar on Thursday had given the statement that four BJP tribal MLAs, who are not happy with BJP are in contact with him. He had also stated that apart from four tribal MLAs, three SC and three general MLAs of BJP are also in touch with Congress as they feel that there is no prospect of them in saffron party.
Shahdeo also said that Ajay Kumar is giving such baseless statements to hide his inefficiency. He said, ‘Even after passing of one year Ajay Kumar has failed to constitute State Congress new unit. Also, there is murmuring against him in State unit.” He also said that it is also not clear, which party Ajay Kumar will join after general election results as he is expert is party hopping.
