Jharkhand State Anganwadi Sevika-Sahayika Mahasangh will protest with their demands on March 8, the International Women’s Day. The decision was taken in the district core committee meeting on Sunday.
Coordinator Sanjay Paswan said that exploitation of Sevika and Sahayika was continuing for a long in the district. Honorarium of depressed class is not regular. Plan for food packet supply at the centres is an exertion of privatisation which is transgression of Supreme Court directions, he added. District chairperson of the Mahasamgh Neera Devithey would go on an infinite hunger strike if their problems were not solved.
