The fast track court of Justice Suresh Chandra Agarwal has sentenced seven year rigorous imprisonment and Rs 2000 cash punishment to Jitendra Yadav, a rape case accused of village Obera of Chauparan block of Hazaribagh district.
This case is of 14th of August 2008 when a lady of his village came out of her house for toilet in the night and the accused had raped her. After the incident Jitendra tried to suppress the matter with the help of members of panchayat but when the lady and her relatives became aware of his motives they moved to police station and lodged FIR.
