Seven minor inmates of Child Remand Home in Dumardaga near Booty More escaped the facility by climbing over its boundary wall on Monday. City SP Kishore Kaushal and other police officials arrived at the scene to track the kids and bring them back.
After lunch, the seven children scaled a 15 feet high wall to get out of the premises. Police personnel from Sadar police station launched a search operation in nearby areas to find out the escaped inmates.
“No clue about the whereabouts of the children has been found yet. Search operation is being continuously conducted in areas near Booty More,” stated Sadar OC Bhola Prasad Singh.
