He also said that if the Municipal Corporation corrects its arrangements, then such a situation will not arise. Cleanliness and fogging of the city is something which, if implemented, can prevent the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya to a great extent. On this issue, the Municipal Commissioner told the MP that the work of fogging and cleaning of the city is going on. This is being accelerated on a war footing.

The MP appealed to put a ban on dumping of garbage and remove the accumulated garbage in many areas of the city including Avadhoot Ashram near Bada Talab area. He told the Commissioner that a waste management plant is being set up by GAIL in Jhiri, but such arrangements have been made that wet and dry waste should come separately. Still wet and dry waste is not being collected separately.

This arrangement should be strictly ensured so that the waste management plant can be started on time and its benefits can also be availed. He also gave instructions to fix faulty street lights in every locality of Ranchi city and ensure adequate and proper lighting in the localities and streets. On this, the Municipal Commissioner said that currently he has got 12000 lights, wherever required, he will ensure further lighting by installing these lights.

Seth said that work on three flyovers is going on in the city. Because of this, potholes have formed everywhere. Water is accumulating around those pits.
