A seminar was organized on TDS, TCS by the Income Tax Department, Bokaro in Hazaribag DVC auditorium on Friday.The program was started with food in which Chief Guest Manish Kumar Jha, Additional Commissioner Income Tax, Kamlesh Kumar Sinha, Income Tax Officer TDS Ranchi Zone, Rakesh Kumar Sinha, Dr. Jitendra Jha Deputy Director Damodar Valley Corporation and other senior officers. In the Seminar Manish Kumar Jha (I.R.S.) Additional Commissioner of Income Tax T.D.S. Circle-2, Kamlesh Kumar Sinha, Income Tax Officer, T.D.S. Ward, Bokaro, gave information on TDS/TCS.He asked all the DDOs/deductors of State and Central Government located in Hazaribag district to pay TDS at the correct rate. He also requested to deduct, deposit the same in the government account and file the quarterly statement on time.He also pointed out that due to filling of wrong information, the person or form deducting tax has difficulty in filing their personal return as well as income tax is also owed to them, while their tax is already deducted and paid by the deductors.He explained in detail about the New Tax Regime.In this seminar TDS/TCS Apart from the new provisions, the provisions of penalty and prosecution for non-deduction and non-deposit of tax were discussed in detail.Income Tax Expert, CMA Rakesh Sinha T.D.S.
