A two day International seminar on safety and health in the steel industry organized by Joint Committee on safety, health and environment in the Steel Industry (JCSSI) in association with Steel Authority of India limited (SAIl) at RDCIS Auditorium concluded on November 22.
Three technical sessions on various themes namely occupational health, promoting safe behaivour through involvement, communication and training and innovative safety practices were organized covering 18 technical papers and one manufacturer presentation by NAFFCO, Dubai.
The function was chaired by NK Jha, Ex- CEO, ISP, SAIl. MR Panda, Dr. BK Jha, Neeraj Mathur, BB Mishra were present in the
event and addressed the participants on various issues related to safety and health in the steel industry.
