In a shocking incident a local security guard allegedly raped a tribal woman near Govindpur project under the Bokaro Thermal police station area here on Wednesday evening-said officer-in charge laxamiKant. On getting complained from victim, cops at Bokaro Thermal conducted raid at Jhirki village and nabbed a security guard Naresh Yadav .Yadav was later reportedly recognized by the victim at police station.
According to police sources, on Wednesday the incident took place near project site when the woman identified as Swati Murmu(name changed ) wife of Sanicharwa Kisku ,a resident of Tungarigutu village of Nawadih block of Bokaro district had gone to Govindpur project site for collecting coal. While she was returning home from the project in the evening ,the accused picked up her at the place near Govindpur CCl project ,threatening the woman ,the culprit forcibly dragged the woman to a near by isolate place .Police added the security guard later raped her at the place .
The victim later returned to her village in serious condition and informed her husband and other relatives .Her husband Sanichara Kisku, who intimated the local police and accompanied the victim to the police station. “We have set up a team to nab the culprit .The accused person targeted the woman after seeing alone and raped her .As per complaint ,he committed the crime with common intension and under a preplanned motive ,the officer-in charge laxamiKant told The Pioneer.
