The team of district police and members of CRPF have failed the plan of blasting on Independence Day of MCC by recovering a 10 kg weight live cane bomb from the road side in Bishnugarh block of Hazaribagh district.
Hazaribagh SP Bhim Sen Tuti informed it on Friday that when Hazaribagh police team along with officers and jawans of CRPF making routine search operation in the forest areas of Vishnugarh block they saw a cane bomb was kept under a small bridge on Govindpur- Gomia road near Kashitand of Udaypur village.
The team called the bomb diffusing team on spot. The team reached there and diffused the live cane bomb on spot.
The CRPF sources said that it cannot be denied that the MCC has planted this cane bomb for big incident. He said that they can use this cane bomb on Independence Day also.
Deputy Commandant of CRPF Prem Kumar, Assistant Commandant Sumant Kumar, officer in charge of Vishnugarh police station Tej Naryan Besra along with jawans was involved.
