The Bermo civil sub-divisional officer has launched a drive to control unauthorised ultrasound and X-ray business at DVC central market in the district.
According to sources, Bermo civil SDO Rahul Kumar Sinha accompanied by local police in charge Raj Kumar Yaday and others police forces today raided the three medical stores including J.K. Medical hall, Reena Ray Medical hall and Pammi medical store at DVC central market. The team has recovered one ultrasound and two X-ray machines which were running with doctors illegally in the area
.The machines were setup illegal inside the medical store while the owners of the medical store, who managed to escape. Incidentally, the machines are situated only ½ km from the DVC hospital .We had received a tip-off about several ultrasound and X-ray system being run furtively in the DVC central market for several years . However the culprits escaped before our team busted their dens"-said Rahul Kumar Sinha ,civil sub-divisional officer,Bermo. The team was assisted by officials from Bokaro thermal police station. “The raids were conducted simultaneously in three medical stores to catch the culprits but the move did not pay off.”
