Scribe loses his mother

Munni Devi (78), wife of social worker and retired teacher Harihar Prasad and mother of Vinod Prasad, a journalist passed away here on Sunday. Her funeral was performed on Monday on the banks of Koel river Serenghatu. All the rituals of the funeral were done by her elder son 

Vinod Prasad who is a senior media person of the district. locals, who paid homage to the departed soul included, Union minister Sudarshan Bhagat, MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat, ex-Rajya Sabha member Dheeraj Prasad Sahu, Municipal chairman Pawan Ekka, vice chairman Subodh Ray, ex- state president of BJP Dineshanand Goswami, state president of BJP Kisan Morcha Om Prakash Singh, twenty-points programme vice president Rakesh Prasad, Rajendra Khatri, all media persons and members of social, political, educational and religious groups.
