State Government and CCl have agreed to share cost of maintaining and running existing sports facility at Khelgaon on 50:50 basis. The fund from the coal PSU would come under its CSR activity. Informing about it, Chief Minster Raghubar Das said that 2000 children would be given formal education from class 1 besides sports coaching. “We have agreed in this regard with the Coal Ministry. CCl would share 50 per cent of cost coming on to it under its CSR activities. An MoU would be singed on May 8,” said the CM. 1000 children would be selected from the State while the rest can come from other parts of the country.
