A school girl died while two other were injured in an accident on NH-23 near Balidih in Bokaro district on Wednesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Priyanka Kumari (13) a class 7 student of Utkramit Middle School Bishunpur, a resident of School Balidih. Khushboo and Prema Kumari got minor injuries and were discharged after first aid, police said.
Following the death of the girl several school teachers, students along with the locals blocked the NH for more than three hours and was lifted after the intervention of police and BDO who promised for compensation.
