The workshop on effective teaching methodology reinforced that activity method is the most effective way to induce learning. It highlighted that learning is not spectator sport. Students’ communication and participation is also vital. They must talk about what they are learning and apply it in their day to day activities.
Sarala Birla Public School (SBPS) organised a workshop on Saturday. All the teachers of Class KG to class VIII attended the workshop organised by Orient Black Swan, a renowned publication house.
The resource person Rohini Bhatt, an educational expert focused on exploring newer and interesting approaches of teaching, with the aim to bring qualitative changes in teaching methodology and to make the subjects more interesting and student friendly.
The workshop was elevated with various interactive sessions for the teachers including games, quizzes, puzzles and concept of gestures. Enacting subjects to enhance learning was also discussed and considerably recognised.
