In a bid to enhance health facilities in Bishunpur of Gumla district and surrounding areas, SBI life Insurance gifted an ambulance to Vikash Bharti Bishunpur under its CSR activity in an event at Arogya Bhawan, Ranchi on Friday. The Bishnupur area lacks basic transportation services which results in loss of lives of the people due to delay in treatment. The ambulance shall benefit over 3,000 people living in and around Bishunpur in getting faster medical and healthcare facilities.
Vikas Bharti Secretary Ashok Bhagat; Chief Guest and Managing Director-CEO of SBI life Arijit Basu; Executive Director of SBI life, M Anand; Regional Director of SBI life Yogesh Srivastav; BJP MlA Gangotri Kujur, Dr. KK Nag and Dr. Sudhir Tripathi and several members of SBI life and Vikas Bharti attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhagat praised the partnership of SBI life and Vikash Bharti for their noble intention and contribution towards health and educational facilities. Samrath Sen Gupta of Vikas Bharti said that they will keep working towards the betterment of people in all areas announcing a hospital in Bishunpur which they will establish with the support of ONGC.
Dr. Sudhir Tripathi lauded this progressive coalition of SBI life and Vikas Bharti saying that the ambulance service is a new step towards the goal of development. He also praised the contribution of Vikas Bharti towards development for the last 3 decades adding that they have redefined development in the 4 public sectors – Education, Health, livelihood and Community Mobilisation.
