Satanpur — the largest village of Bokaro district ready to welcome Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday. Das will inaugurate and laid the foundation stones of several developmental projects worth `71. 31crore under Yojna Banao Abhiyan here, District Administrative officials informed.
The village has been associated with history for more than three centuries; however it has lacked on several basic amenities including road, potable water and electricity, said Naddita, the head of the village. “With 7,500 of population this village has 22 wards,” she added. Our village has enormous surplus lands, many projects including medical and engineering colleges can come-up on this land but all depends on Government’s node, said villagers. Now, the village is finally ready to give a grand welcome to the Chief Minister. The villagers are in a big ray of hope for their inclusive growth after Das’s visit, she said.
For safety and security point of view all necessary arrangements district administration tighten their belt. All tops officials took all security accounts of the place. Bokaro DC Rai Mahimapat Ray, DDC along with Bokaro SP today also took an account of all security and other arrangements today.
