Ex-minister Yogendra Sao and his wife MlA Nirmala Devi are actually the victims of a well-thought out conspiracy of the State Government and the NTPC administration. The allegation was made by ex-State Congress president-cum-MP Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu and MP Dhiraj Sahu at Hazaribagh today.
The Congress leaders said that imposing section 144 in the area and sending notice of section 107 to Sao couple one day before the meeting, they had arranged at Barkagaon, clearly speaks that a high level conspiracy was going on against them to suppress the voice of poor land owners of Barkagaon and Keredari area who are going to lose their lands due to the projects of NTPC, specially the coal mining projects.
Congress leaders were in Hazaribagh today where they met the Sao couple in JP Central Jail and then talked with the displaced of Barkagaonwho had arrived in large numbers to share their tears with them.
Balmuchu said that the NTPC administration of coal projects is actually cheating the Government, the higher officials and the local land owners as it never comes forward to talk to the landowners directly.
Balmuchu and Sahu blamed that the local officials of NTPC coal projects are actually working here for the benefits of the pimps engaged in land trading.
Calling the Raghuwar Das Government, a government of false promises, Balmuchu said that it has been promised that every corner of the state will get24x7 electric supplyby the end of 2018 but it is not possible because for such type of developmental activity time, money and strong will power is required and Das government lacks all three. They also criticized the central and state governments of BJP for increasing prices of essential commodities like pulse, oil, vegetables, food grains etc.
Congress leader Jai Shankar Pathak, District Congress President Vijay Kumar Yadav, Binod Singh, Dinesh Rathore, Yamuna Yadav, Raju Chaurasia and others were present with the MPs during a press conference held in the residence of Ex-MlA late lambodar Pathak.
