Chief Minister Raghubar Das has said that the government was very much on the line of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas in the State, and that it was also the government of those who didn’t vote for BJP in last assembly election.

Speaking at State BJP Executive Committee meeting to Sunday, he also asked party leaders and workers to profess the activities of Government in littipara where the by-poll is scheduled for April 9.

“The party has also broken the myth of so called vote banks on various occasions, and we are very much on the line of development for all,” said Das in the meeting where BJP State president laxman Gilua, Vice Presidents Vidyutvaran Mahto, Usha Pandey, Samir Oraon, Aditya Sahu, Treasurer and Rajyasabha MP Mahesh Poddar, Pradeep Verma, Naveen Jaiswal, Spokespersons JB Tubid, Pratul Shahdev, Deendayal Barnwal, Media In-Charge Shivpoojan Pathak and Presidents of various BJP Morcha including Amit Singh, Jyotirishwar Singh, Arti Singh, Neeraj, Amar Paswan and others were present.

In a bid to get maximum out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Sahibganj on April 6 for littipara by-poll, the party has asked its workers to converge in Sahibganj on the day in huge numbers. Gilua asked workers to leave no stone unturned to go and keep voters of littipara informed about what the government had been and would be doing for them.

“We have asked workers to go there and listen to the Prime Minister in Sahibganj, who is coming to inaugurate new bridge over Ganga on April 6 which also happens Foundation Day of the Party. We have over 1 lakh local workers alone and the number of party workers present there might easily cross double of that from across the State. As Sahibganj falls out of by-poll area, there is no issue of code of conduct,” said Gilua.

The party said that Santhal Pargana was going to become one of the most important and developed parts of the State, as new bridge over Ganga and a new commercial water port was proposed there in Sahibganj. “A new AIIMS is also coming up in Deoghar, which is also going to have air connectivity soon. We will definitely ask workers to spread such developmental works,” said Shivpoojan Sahay after meeting.

Meanwhile, BJP Minority Morcha President Kamal Khan said in its meeting on the day that every other party had used Muslims as a vote bank and did nothing for its development. “However, Muslims opted to vote for BJP in UP and chose right Government,” said Khan. The Morcha also thanked Das for new Haj House and a number of other announcements for minorities.
