Branding Narendra Modi as an icon of development and good governance former lok Sabha Speaker PA Sangma hinted at supporting NaMo as next Prime Minister of India.
Praising Modi’s performance Sangma said, “People today want development and good governance and he has proved it in Gujarat”. “Modi is fit for Prime Minister”, he added.
Talking to the newsmen at Bokaro Sangma said : Though I am congressi but ready to support Modi as PM. Entire nation is looking forward to Modi, who has the leadership capabilities. “People have many hopes from him for the holistic development of the country”, he added Adding to join hands with the BJP for 2014 poll Sangma said he has no faith in third front as “it would not sustain”, he added.
Hitting back of the Congress over the deep rooted corruption and anti-people policy Sangma urges mass for a change as UPA Government is incompetent adding Rahul Gandhi as a man with confused in nature, who could not have a vision for the country. “People are waiting for 2014 polls so that they can uproot UPA Government, he said.
Taking a dig over the political turmoil since from birth of Jharkhand Sangma urges mass to think again and again, then give a clear mandate to a single party at least for two tenure (i.e 10 years) for the holistic development of the state which is stand still since past 13 years. A stable Government is more important than the demand of ‘Special package’, he said. “Special package will not do a lot, unless and until people will come forward for clear mandate to as single party in Jharkhand”, Sangma added. Sangma formed National People’s Party after losing the presidential poll to give a voice to tribal people who have been marginalised economically and politically across the country.
