Garhwa DC Manish Ranjan withheld the salaries of seven BDOs who didnot attend the review meeting of ongoing several head schemes. The DC also sought explanation from the BDOs of Danda, Ketar, Bhawnathpur and Kandi for non-payment of first installment of Indira Awas Yojana.
He withheld the salaries of BDOs of Manjhiaon, Ramkanda, Bhandariya, Ranka, Meral, Bardiha, Khraundhi and Sagama. In the meeting, DC directed all the BDOs concerned to execute the incomplete development works in their block headquarters.
DC also directed that the names of beneficiaries, distribute quantity and rate of food grains should be listed outside the shops within four days. SDOs and BDOs will be responsible for ensuring the accountabilityin these cases.
DC also directed them to construct two separate toilets and urinals for males and females in every block premises under Nirmal Bharat scheme. Under the provision water facility should also be made available in the toilets.
In the meeting, DDC Umashanker Prasad, Additional Collector Sanjay Kumar,DSO, Garhwa Pashupati Nath Mishra, SDO Nagar Untari Arun Kumar Ekka, District Panchayati Raj OfficerSushama Nilam Soreng, Deputy Director of Socail Security Madhu Shri Mishara, BDOs and all block Panchayat Raj officers were also present.
