SAIL's Chief Vigilance Officer Vineet Pandey, who reached Bokaro on a two-day tour, planted trees in JNB Park Sector 4 on the second day of his tour on 23rd June, followed by offering prayers at Jagannath Temple. In the morning Pandey also visited Asha-Lata Kendra and met the students studying there and appreciated the efforts put in by all towards the benefit of society. He also inquired about the various activities being run by the CSR department of Bokaro Steel Plant at Asha Lata Kendra. In a program organized at the Human Resource Development Center of BSL, Pandey addressed the Planning Incharge group of various departments of BSL and discussed the related aspects. During this, Director-in-Charge of BSL, Amarendu Prakash, Executive Director and other senior officers were also present. In the afternoon Pandey also held a meeting with the officers of the Vigilance Department of BSL. At the end of his tour, Pandey left Bokaro in the afternoon.
