Former Ranchi MP and senior leader Subodh Kant Sahay has been appointed as chairman of the Congress campaign committee for Jharkhand. Also Dr Ajay Kumar has been named a convener of the committee, responsible for managing electioneering in the State.
Top leaders of the party including PCC president Sukhdeo Bhagat, ClP leader Rajendra Singh, Furkan Ansari, Pradeep Balmuchu and Alamgir Alam are among the members. The party also named other candidates in its list, which includes names of Devilal Murmu (Maheshpur), Irfan Ansari (Jamtara), Md Faiyaz Amhed Kaiser (Madhupur), Puja Chatterjee (Bagodar), Hikkim Chandra Mahto (Ichagrah) and Alok Dubey (Hatia).
