Sagma block would be declared Open Defecation Free (ODF) block by January 26, while Garhwa district administration aimed to make ODF four more blocks Meral ,Bardiha,Ketar and Bisunpura by end of this financial year.
After holding a meeting with the officials Garhwa DC Neha Arora expressed her displeasure on low quality construction of 25 toilets in Sondiha panchayat under sgama block. She said that all low quality toilets would be demolished and new construction would be done. No any
payement would be released of the such toilets. It is come in my knowledge when after receiving complain against construction of low quality toilets he deputed to the Garhwa SDO Rajiv Kumar for inspection and submitted inspection report, DC added.
DC said that one Danda block has been already made ODF block, now Sagama would be made ODF block by January26.
DC informed that besides this Nagar Parishat and all block head
quarter would be make ODF.
The construction of toilets work is going at war footing . To make ODF of Sagama block altogether 5652 toilets for construction have been taken up out of which construction of 5000 toilets have completed work is going on rest toilets,which expected to complete by January 24. She directed to the officials after completion of work deposit certificate by January 24.
