A one-day workshop on Safe Steel Making was organized for officers and personnel in SMS-2 and CCS Department of BSL. Chief General Manager (Security & Fire Services) Amarendra Jha, Chief General Manager (SMS-2 & CCS) BP Rao, General Manager-in-Charge (Safety & Fire Services) A Rautela, General Manager (Personnel-Operations) SS Singh and other senior officers and personnel of SMS-2 and CCS department were present.
In the brainstorming session organized in the workshop, an action plan was prepared by the officers and personnel to prevent possible accidents during work by identifying the risk areas during steel making. General Manager (Security Engineering) Vikas Gupta gave information about various dimensions of security in SMS-2 and CCS department through a presentation. At the end of the workshop, General Manager (SMS-2 & CCS) and Departmental Security Officer Rajesh Bahadur proposed the vote of thanks.
Also closing ceremony of the Safety Awareness Week organized in the Bokaro Steel Plant’s Traffic Department was held in the Traffic Department’s conference hall. On this occasion, Chief General Manager (Services) Sanjay Kumar, CGM (Security & Fire Services) Amarendra Jha, CGM (Traffic) AK Jha along with winning personnel of various security related competitions organized during the Safety Awareness Week were present.
