The Friday started with sanity of peace after a communal tension flared at lohardaga on Thursday. A Sadbhawna March led by ex-CM and JVM supremo Babulal Marandi and ex-Minister Bandhu Tirkey was taken out on Friday. It was started from Milan Chowk and reached to railway siding passing through main road spreading the message of communal harmony and peace.
On the occasion Babulal Marandi said, “Some unsocial people are trying to rapture the peace of the district. They must be recognized and punished. Now Durga Puja, Muharram, Chhath and Deepawali are on head. So the unsocial elements can take advantages of the occasion and try again to rapture the peace. So the administration must take preventive measures. The people should not care for rumors.”
On the occasion ex-Minister Bandhu Tirkey, Balbir Dev and many JVM members were present.As per sources ex-Chief Minister Babulal Marandi called press conference at district council office and said, “The matter of rapture of communal harmony at Ranchi, Jamshedpur and many regions have been informed to the CM by letter. By slogans, firing, and bandh many people are trying to express their reactions. So the religious places should be marked and the police forces should be deployed there. The administration should pay attention in processions and religious rituals by CCTV cameras. The CM has taken the matter seriously and assured to take appropriate steps.”
