A 2-year-old child son of Mansoori Ansari died after an operation, on Monday at Saraswati Hospital located in Garhwa town. After the death of the child, the family created a ruckus in the hospital. The family members have accused the hospital management that the child was sedated for the operation, after that the child did not regain consciousness. Even after that, the hospital staff did not inform him about it.
The relatives of the child said that on Monday morning the boy was admitted to Saraswati Hospital for a hernia operation. Where the doctor first took the fee and operation charge, then took the child to the Operation Theatre for the operation. The relatives alleged that there was no specialist doctor and sedation specialist doctor in the hospital for the operation of hernia.
Because of that the child was sedated before the operation. After that he did not regain consciousness. People gathered outside the hospital due to the crying of the relatives in the hospital.
After hours of compromise by local social workers, the family took the child’s body to their home.
The relatives said that further action would be taken according to the situation. Till the filing of this report, no FIR was registered.
