Jharkhand Congress is continuing its series of Save Constitution rallies at the district level. In this series, the Save Constitution meeting was held in the Dak Bungalow premises by Khunti District Congress Committee and after that a rally was taken out in the city. Addressing the Save Constitution rally, the state's Agriculture Minister and Minister in charge of Southern Chotanagpur Division, Shilpi Neha Tirkey said that the constitution of the country whose democracy was praised all over the world is in danger today. Instead of strengthening the constitution, the Modi government sitting in the center wants to entangle the people of the country in the web of religion.
Tirkey said that the Central government is doing politics of danger from each other by dividing Christians, Muslims and Hindus. She said that those who call themselves the contractors of Hindu society should tell where were the people wearing half pants and caps when innocent people were killed in Pahalgam after asking their religion. Forgetting the valour and bravery of the Indian Army soldiers, the people of BJP have started doing politics in the name of Operation Sindoor. She said that the biggest threat to the country is from the ideology of RSS and BJP. Only the Constitution can protect the tribals, Dalits, backward farmers. From delisting to Sarna, Sanatan, conspiracies are being hatched to erase the existence of the tribals of the country. But this will never succeed.
The minister said that Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the rights of the people of the country without fear. We all have to support him step by step in this fight. To save democracy at all costs, the Constitution has to be saved. Congress state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said that the result of the struggle for caste census is that the central government had to kneel down. Now it is time to fight for the Sarna religion code. The coalition government passed this proposal from the House long ago. When there is a provision of column for other religions in caste census, then why will there not be a separate column for Sarna religion. Congress will work to take the fight for Sarna religion code to Delhi. BJP people want to bring Manusmriti in the society. They do not trust the Constitution.
The Save Constitution Rally in Khunti was addressed by MP Kalicharan Munda, MLA Naman Vikas Kongadi, former Chairman Pradeep Balmuchu, former Minister Yogendra Sao, Chairman of Gau Seva Aayog Rajiv Ranjan, Congress leader Dayamani Barla and other Congress leaders.
