A sum of Rs 5 lakhs was looted from the employee of Yashraj Petrol Pump on a gunpoint. The Petrol pump is situated at Bero lohardaga main road in Bhandra block. According to the sources the employee of the Petrol pump Rahul Kumar was going to deposit money to the bank. During that two criminals with covered face looted the money on a gunpoint and managed to flee towards Chatti.
The police of Bhandra Thana started to probe into the matter. It was told that Rahul Kumar alias Chhotu was going to Bank of India to deposit the earning of last two days by his Hero Honda motorcycle. The two assailants lurking to snatch the money overtook his bike in filmy style. The first put the gun over him and the second attacked with knife. During this confliction Rahul left his bag to save himself. Both of them fled towards Chatti. According to the victim Rahul Kumar the first criminal had put on helmet whereas the second had covered his head with muffler. The denizens of the block are in terror by this incidence.
