Rotary Hazaribagh Valley celebrated Rotary Day with colour and fest. On this occasion Rotarian PP John Mile of Rotary Club of Gilford, United Kingdom, was present as Chief Guest along with President of Rotary Gilford Fawona Mile RID 1250.
In the noon they visited St. Elizabeth School where the students and teachers gave a warm welcome to them. In this school Rotary Hazaribagh Valley has installed water project. Both guests spent a good time with the school family especially with the kids.
In the evening they visited the Rohini Devi Rotary Eye Hospital which is going to be inaugurated on 15th March 2015. The chief guest and his wife took a close look of the facilities going to be provided by this hospital to the poor denizens of Hazaribagh.
later on in the evening in the meeting hall of this eye hospital Rotary Day celebration started. Colonel Vinay Kumar gave a brief account of the journey of eye hospital and announced opening of Rotary Saheli Center at village Mashipirhi which will work for the upliftment of rural women of the area.
Chief Guest Rotarian PP John Mile appreciated the social works of Rotary Hazaribagh Valley. He said that during this short visit the natural beauty of Hazaribagh has admired him and promised to come back again. Chief guest and his life partner Rotarian Fawona Mile advised the members of Rotary Hazaribagh Valley to establish a dialysis center in the town.
Rotarian Shailesh lal anchored the program. On this occasion local artists and family members of Rotary Hazaribagh presented cultural program. Many distinguished guests were also present in this occasion.
