The Rotary Club of Bokaro Steel City organized a Kanwar service camp on August 4, 2024, between ITI Mod and Pindrajora. The club distributed an ample supply of fruits, juice, and mineral water to the Kanwariyas carrying water from the Damodar and Garga rivers for the ritual of Jalabhishek at Chirikadham.

A dedicated team of about 15 Rotary Club members selflessly contributed to this camp, showcasing the club's significant role in serving humanity. The camp was led by Rotary Club President Rotarian Mahesh Kumar Gupta, with Rotarian Dr. Rajdeep providing expert leadership. The event saw active participation from Rotarians Alka Gupta, Vivek Kakkar, Sandhya Raj, Chandra Re, Pradeep Re, Ashok Kedia, Santosh Kumar, Binny Kakkar, Jaswinder Kaur, Abhay Giri, Seema Giri, Ghanshyam Das, Manoj Agarwal, Lalita Agarwal, and Neelam Das.

The camp received widespread praise from all along the Kanwar route. Encouraged by the camp's success, President Mahesh Kumar Gupta assured everyone that the Rotary Club would continue organizing such events in Bokaro and surrounding areas to promote the Rotary image and serve humanity.
