Members of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West embarked on Clean City Green City project. Members decided to plant trees at the newly-built meditation and spiritual centre, CIRD centre,(beside CH Area Sai Temple), to make the place greener and cool. It was felt that the place needs to plant trees and saplings will survive as there are people to look after them.
Members planted 20 saplings in the centre and thanked the authorities for all the cooperation that they extended to them. The first two saplings were planted by Rotary lets (children of Rotarians and Rotary spouses) to encourage them plant trees and live in an eco-friendly way. Children helped a lot in managing the whole event and members went home with the satisfaction that they have been successfulin inculcating Rotary culture in the Gen Next children.
