For the first time a meeting of president and secretaries of zone XIV of Rotary International was held at Hazaribagh.
The president and secretaries of all five rotary clubs of this zone participated in the meeting which took place in the Banquet Hall of Hotel Mirchi. Shailesh lal, president of Hazaribagh Rotary Club, presided over the meeting in which Rotarians of Hazaribagh Valley, Damodar Valley, Ramgarh, Ramgarh Central and Bhurkunda took part.
The members first welcomed their guests the Assistant Governor Rotarian Neelanjan Dutta, Zonal Secretary Rotarian Srikant Gupta and Project Chairman Rotarian Praveen Rajgarhiya by presenting flower bouquets to them. In this meeting, different projects to be organized in the year 2013-14 were finalized by the members.
In 2013-14 Zone XIV will organize mega health checkup camp in which doctors from Ranchi will spare time, blood donation camp on 1st of July, mega tree plantation, debate competition for school level students, anti-polythene movement, eye donation awareness campaign, eye hospital at Babhanvay village and to minimize the intensity of mosquitoes in the town they will initiate fogging project.
