The road robbers once again struck on Wednesday night on the Dumari-Phusro road in the vicinity of Khakhi forest area and another at laxaman road on NH-2 with in the jurisdiction of Nimiamore police station and decamped with cash and valuables worth over Rs 2 lakh late Wednesday night.
Sources said that the dacoits were armed laid their hands on a booty worth Rs 2 lakh including jewellery, besides snatching several mobiles phones. The first incident took place at Dumari -Phusro road, 10-12 dacoits looted in a bus near Khakhi forest area. later, they sped in a car. A similar incident has taken place near laxaman more on NH-2 in which several vehicles including bus ,trucks and other four wheelers were looted.
