In a bid to streamline the projects under strict time constrain, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has invited requisition from different consultancy firms for empanelment. The selected consultancy firms will help the municipal corporation in preparing the detailed project report (DPR) of different projects.
Notably, at present, RMC is working with one consultancy agency, Chadda and Associates. The concerned company has taken up the charge of few major projects like Distillery Pond beautification project, Ranchi Urban Haat project.
“In an attempt to save time and complete the project in the set deadline, it is now mandatory to include some other consultancy firms as well with the civic body. Few consultancy agencies are already listed with the civic body. The consultancy agencies found competent will be included in different projects after getting approval from the board meeting. It will also help in reducing the tedious work-process of tender,” said, Mayor, Asha lakra.
