Overjoyed with the victory registered by the party during recent Assembly elections in Bihar, State unit of RJD will carry out ‘pol-khol’ campaign against the incumbent Government in Jharkhand and will also to keep an account of the promises made by CM Raghubar Das and the steps taken towards it in the last one year. RJD national vice president Annapurna Devi, while talking to the media persons in Ranchi, said that Das did nothing for this State except making announcements.
“Chief Minister Raghubar Das had sought three months time from the people of Jharkhand, but not a single promise could be visible on the ground even after passage of three years,” said the RJD leader. According to Annapurna, youths in Jharkhand are still jobless and prices are still on the rise. The way Jharkhand government kept itself engaged during Bihar elections, it seems that this government was least concerned about the people of Jharkhand, she said.
“The manner in which the whole Cabinet put itself in Bihar elections, it suggests that the hard earned money of the people of Jharkhand was misused in Bihar elections. This government will have o give full account of this,” Annapurna said.
Referring to the thumping victory of the grand alliance in Jharkhand, Annapurna further added that it was clear with the Bihar results that people of Bihar have proved that DNA of Bihar will never tolerate those who try to spread violence in the state. “Modi tried to do so in Bihar but the elections results clearly defied his intentions,” she said.
Annapurna said that the party will now strengthen its base in Jharkhand and said that the party will try to polarize all the opposition parties together should show their might in lohardaga by-elections.
