Bagodar bus stand ground could not accommodate all the people, who walked into the town from different places to pay tribute to their beloved leader, Comrade Mahendra Singh, on his 14th death anniversary here on Tuesday.The Sankalp rally ground overflowed with thousands of women, men and children, with red flags in their hands, who pledged to carry forward the dream of Mahendra Singh.
The rally began after unveiling of statue of Comrade Mahendra Singh by CPI (Ml) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, his wife Shanti Devi ,MlA Raj Kumar Yadav ,Arup Chatterjee ,Ex MlA and his son Binod Kumar Singh and others at his native village Khambra. On the occasion Comrade Dipankar Bhattacharya addressed a huge gathering and said that the beloved son of Khambra had shown a way for the people of Jharkhand and his life will always be a source of inspiration for them. “We have to march ahead on his path to build a new people’s Jharkhand. BJP government of Jharkhand is repressing common people to implement the anti-people polices. Comrade Mahendra Singh always discussed of such a third front that can fulfil the aspirations of the poor and downtrodden. Binod Kumar Singh said on occasion said that the State and Central government cheated the people of country only in the name of religion and caste. The meeting was also addressed by Raj Kumar Yadav ,Arup Chatterjee ,Gajendra Mahto,and also were present on the occasion were Rameshwar Chaudhary ,Ramdeo Yadav,Mustikim Ansari ,Rajesj Yadav,D.P.
